  hello and thanks to everyone for participating on this forum it has really been of much value, for those of you that post here know that your words are not lost you never know who is reading your expressions, lives are being changed and nonsense challenged.

  i’m not much of a writer so excuse my untrained writing style and grammar but i want to share my story to help anyone who is visiting here to see that we are real people, fathers, mothers, sons and daughters who have come here for answers, there is no agenda, just searching for truth.

  i hope my story will help others as so many here have helped me..

  Exactly!

  I lay awake that night falling back wards like in a dream where you keep falling but I was wide awake. My mind running out of control, my whole life was based on a lie, my marriage chosen by rules, my wife captive to a ideology as myself, my chose of employment dictated to me by men who now seem like strangers, my world view on people, money, sex and life skewed.

  For 9 years ago i was ill after an accident and was home booring. Checked some JW word out on internet.
  -Stunned... 8 hours reading.. and i had relesed the cat out of the box...
  
  The night and the days after this was exactly as the topic starter..
  
  38 years of living partly right in the trash bin...

  out at the mall with mrs. otwo, she sees a shirt on the rack that was marked down from $25 to just $4.

  she holds it up and says, "should i buy this as a workout shirt?".

  i tell her "no, because as soon as you figure out what it means, you won't wear it anymore.

  we will not see anything from the cutbacks today until the 2018 yearbook.

  because the "year" is counted from sep-august

  so all the drawbacks of special pioneers from country's, that will be effective in january, will not be seen in the 2017 yearbook when they still can take statistics of publishers from sep-nov 2015.
  
  What we can see is number of baptism and memorials. highs of publishers can be 1,5 years old numbers depending on which month they take it from.

  I did a compare with 2011 numbers of country's that backed or stood still...

  2011: 40

  2015: 76!

  just a little disclaimer: english isn't my first language (i'm from france) thus the poor writing skills.here is the situation: i'm not a jw.

  however, i'm in the process of becoming one.

  in fact, i'm studying with the jw's, and i'll proceed to become an unbaptized publisher as soon as i finish the first book.to make a long story short i was introduced to the truth when i was 18een.

  No! You felt some energy or something that wanted to help you. That may be true... but don't asume that it is the JV:s "Jehova´h" that wanted to help you....
  Please investigate that origin further before you take any decisions.
  
  I was a "born in" in 35 years+ so i know what i talk about to get out of the cult... my wife and i have lost half of each others relatives to get our selves and our kids free... but it was worth it, any day!
  Don't get your self fooled by idiotic promises of some "paradise" in the future!
  
  Ask your self where the millions of the people are today after the book that was released to them 1918 that promised "Millions Now living wont ever die!"

  i saw this on ex jw reddit:"this may not be news to you but it was to me.

  forgive me if this has already been posted before.

  it came from a reliable source working on the warwick project.. wallkill bethel had broken ground and laid the foundation for a new recreation building.

  Yearbook is late this year

  usually i recieve an advanced yb but have not this year.

  i also notice they have not posted it yet on jw.org.. i wonder if this is due to problems at the printery at wallkill or they decided to produce the yb later from now on?.

  or perhaps they decided not to publish it any more.. anyone have any info on this?.

  Why did you pick the name you have now

  just wondering if your name describes what you saw, how you were treated when you were "in" or now "out", maybe your personality, ect.... i'm label licker and the why i picked this name was because of all the licking up one side of elders and down the other to either be an elder or ministerial servant.

  one time i was standing right in front of this brother who wasn't made an ms yet and he totally ignored me and talked right over my head speaking really loud trying to catch the co's attention.. got sick of watching the poor elderly sitting all alone or standing against the wall like a wall flower with noone to talk to and yet all these label lickers would take turns picking up the elders elderly parents and take them shopping and do their groceries at least four times a week while out in service, yet, there was noone there to take a meal to a sister who just got out of the hospital with a heart attack.

  when i had shown up at her apartment with a meal she asked if i could wash her private and change her bandages.

  In swedish it means "Hidden agenda". I had/was that when i tried to get my family out of this cult and tried to seed plants of thinking to others.
  Today all know.. so it´s not so hidden anymore...
